What is The Circle Chart?

Essentially the Korean equivalent of the Billboard charts, The Circle Chart was previously known as the Gaon Music Chart. So if you hear those two names, they’re interchangeable. It was founded in 2010 by the Korea Music Content Association to keep track of the popularity of sound recordings coming out of Korea on a week-to-week basis.
