On October 6, NewJeans' Hanni celebrated her 20th birthday and shared a special playlist with her fans. Among the many songs from various artists, ARMYs and Bunnies were delighted to see that she included "Slow Dancing," the debut solo title track from her label senior, BTS' V. Despite the public tensions between HYBE, Min Hee Jin, and NewJeans, it was heartwarming to see Hanni recognize "Slow Dancing" in her birthday playlist.

The moment reminded fans of when NewJeans danced alongside V to "Slow Dancing." Clad in trendy yet casual outfits—complete with caps, sweats, and hoodies—V and members Hanni, Hyein, Minji, Danielle, and Haerin grooved to the enjoyable jazz track. With no fixed choreography for "Slow Dancing," it was endearing to watch NewJeans subtly mimic V's moves, as they tried to appear serious about promoting a dance challenge while genuinely enjoying their time together.

 

While NewJeans and HYBE seem to have reached a temporary truce, Bunnies remain hopeful that the situation will be resolved in favor of the members, sparing them from the ongoing media scrutiny. Meanwhile, V is currently serving in the military, and BTS is set to reunite as a full group for a comeback in 2025.
