Watch the Moment when BTS' RM referenced Nobel Prize winner Han Kang in a past livestream
By ANWAYA MANE

On October 10, renowned South Korean author Han Kang, famous for her books The Vegetarian and Human Acts: A Novel, became the first South Korean author and the first Asian woman to receive the prestigious Nobel Prize in Literature. This marks the second Nobel Prize ever awarded to South Korea, a moment of immense pride and honor for the country. Naturally, many celebrities took to social media to congratulate Han Kang on this remarkable achievement.
Among those congratulating her were BTS' RM and V, who also shared their excitement on social media. Fans were reminded of a past V-Live in 2017 when RM mentioned reading Han Kang's novels. He spoke about enjoying The Boy is Coming (the Korean title), also known internationally as Human Acts: A Novel, and also mentioned reading Kim Ji-young, Born 1982 by Cho Nam Ju.
In a touching coincidence, V revealed that he read Human Acts: A Novel while serving in the military. ARMYs are hopeful that more people, especially non-Koreans, will take RM and V’s recommendations and explore Han Kang's brilliant writing.
