If you haven’t heard of the hit K-drama Lovely Runner, you might be living under a virtual rock. The show features Byeon Woo Seok as the charming K-pop idol Ryu Sun Jae and Kim Hye Yoon as his devoted fan, Im Sol.
The drama's unexpected success launched Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon into stardom. One of its most memorable scenes features the girl in her school uniform and the boy in a cap, protecting her from the rain with a bright yellow umbrella, creating a striking contrast to the gloomy monsoon backdrop. However, ARMYs are quick to point out that BTS' RM and Jin have their own version of Lovely Runner.
In a clip from House of ARMY, RM takes on the role of a schoolgirl while Jin plays a delivery boy. ARMYs insist that they were the original Lovely Runner couple, even before Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon.
