In 2019, BTS made a guest appearance on the popular The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, hosted by comedian and political commentator Stephen Colbert. In a tribute to the legendary Beatles, BTS staged a charming skit before a live studio audience. The skit transported viewers back to the black-and-white era of February 9, 1964, when The Beatles made their American television debut on The Ed Sullivan Show.

Fifty years later, BTS graced the same stage with an iconic skit on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Dressed in sharp suits and ties, sporting classic mop-top haircuts, each member introduced themselves to the audience. Stephen Colbert humorously noted that each member is affectionately referred to as "the cute one," leading to a lighthearted moment where the camera panned over each member, leaving everyone wondering who truly held that title.

 

Adding to the nostalgic vibe, audience members were also dressed in styles reminiscent of the 50s and 60s. Following the skit, BTS performed their hit summer song "Boy With Luv."
