TWICE’s NAYEON To Release New Solo Single “NA-sty” in November

NAYEON of TWICE is set to release a new solo single, titled “NA-sty,” on November 20, 2026.

Last week, an industry insider revealed to The Korea Herald that NAYEON’s solo comeback would take place during the third week of November. On October 23, a video teaser was shared on TWICE’s official social media channels, confirming that comeback in the form of a new single. It imitates an early Windows program, and when “NA-sty” is selected as a screen saver, a graphic of angel wings bounces against the edges to the screen – solidifying into a white logo.

The teaser suggests that NAYEON will lean into the current trend of nostalgic, technological imagery that is making its way across the industry, though NAYEON has told fans that she intends to present a more mature side of herself with the single.

“NA-sty” as a title plays on NAYEON’s name, becoming the third in a self-named series of releases. NAYEON made her solo debut in 2022 with the first mini album IM NAYEON, which uses her full name as its title. In 2024, she released her second mini album, NA. Now, that title extends to “NA-sty.”

The single will be her first solo comeback in two years. While NAYEON has come out with several solo OSTs, such as the track “Love Is Enough” for the SBS romantic comedy series Sold Out on You in May, NA is her most recent official comeback. Both IM NAYEON and NA achieved high first-day sales; the former surpassed 120,000 copies on Hanteo, the latter doubling that figure with over 280,000. As a member of TWICE, one of the genre’s leading girl groups, NAYEON was bound to succeed, but hit songs like “POP!”, “ABCD” and “MEEEEEE” increased sales and streams even more.

In that time NAYEON has been part of a series of milestones for TWICE as a collective. In October 2025 the nine-piece celebrated their 10-year anniversary with the special album TEN: The Story Goes On, following the release of their popular fourth full album THIS IS FOR. They saw a record-breaking touring run with their <THIS IS FOR> World Tour, which has become the best-selling tour by a female Asian artist in U.S. history.

The achievements marked several career-highs for TWICE – but also represented the end of a chapter. Throughout October 2026, three TWICE members have announced their departure from JYP Entertainment ahead of the expiration of their exclusive contracts. JEONGYEON has signed with VARO Entertainment to pursue acting, CHAEYOUNG has departed from the company with plans to expand her LIL FANTASY concept, and leader JIHYO has announced the launch of her own agency EMITHAUS. All will remain members of TWICE, but will also embark on solo endeavours.

News of a new single from NAYEON suggests that for the time being, the artist intends to remain with JYP Entertainment and continue to develop her career as a soloist under the company. There have been no announcements regarding a contract renewal for NAYEON, but as other members share news of their various contracts, “NA-sty” indicates that music itself and subsequent promotions will remain her priority throughout November as opposed to seeking a different path at this stage.

“NA-sty” will be available to stream and download on global streaming services from November 20, 2026.
