The Mystery of JYP LOUD: Where Are They??

Back in 2021, JYP Entertainment started the process of introducing a new boy group, their first since 2018 when Stray Kids debuted. The group would come from the reality show LOUD, which narrowed the field down to five winners who were to be the final lineup for the new group. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the group’s debut now for years, but JYP has been oddly quiet about their future.

The group doesn’t even have an official name yet, despite the lineup being public for years. Most fans have just been calling them JYP LOUD or JYPE LOUD after the show that formed the group, but that’s unlikely to be the actual name for the group. The other odd point is that all of the other contestants on LOUD have now debuted with other groups and agencies.Only the JYP winners themselves are still unaccounted for.

 

With so much time gone by at this point, there has been a fair amount of fan speculation on where JYP LOUD is and what’s happening with their debut. A few months ago, rumors that Yoon Min had left the group were confirmed when he created an Instagram account (which is contrary to JYP’s terms). Around the same time, fans began speculating that the name of the group would be QUIRI based on trademark applications by JYP around then.

 

 

Since then, there’s been little news about the remaining four members. Some have pointed out that with Stray Kids’ recent uptick in popularity, the company is likely trying to focus enough attention on them to avoid missing opportunities, and certain aspects of JYP LOUD are just on the backburner for the time being. At this point, who can say? All we hope is that the guys are able to finally get their moments in the spotlight.
