TAEMIN, BIGBANG and KATSEYE Announced for Coachella 2026

Coachella has revealed its 2026 line-up, and K-pop fans have plenty to celebrate. The festival will host the long-awaited return of BIGBANG, a rare solo appearance from TAEMIN, and sets from rising names KATSEYE and YOUNA.

For BIGBANG, this is more than just another booking. The group surprised everyone last November when they appeared during G-Dragon’s stage at the 2024 MAMA Awards in Osaka – their first time performing together since 2017. That short set of “Home Sweet Home,” “Bang Bang Bang” and “Fantastic Baby” immediately sparked talk of a full comeback. Since then, G-Dragon has kept fans guessing with hints about the group’s 20th anniversary, while leading his own Übermensch world tour. The rest of the members have also stayed busy: T.O.P with his role in Squid Game 2, Taeyang through collaborations with Jimin and Lisa plus solo tours, and Daesung with his EP D’s Wave. Their slot at Coachella will be the first confirmed full-group show in almost a decade – a reunion big enough to shift the festival’s spotlight.

TAEMIN arrives at Coachella in the middle of a defining run. Since moving to Big Planet Made, he’s expanded his artistry with Eternal, an EP praised for its emotional depth and refined sound. His Ephemeral Gaze world tour stretched across Asia, the Americas and Europe, with a highlight stop at Manchester Arena, before wrapping up in Seoul this past spring. He’s also preparing for a full arena run in Japan through the end of 2025. Known for blending precision with vulnerability on stage, TAEMIN’s set in Indio won’t feel like an introduction – more like recognition of a performer who has already proven himself worldwide.

They won’t be the only acts in the desert. KATSEYE’s addition to the line-up makes sense after a breakthrough year. With “Gnarly” and “Gabriela” putting them firmly in the global pop conversation, the group now has the chance to bring that energy to one of music’s biggest stages.

Also in the mix is YOUNA, a Korean-born DJ who first developed her sound in Dubai’s club scene. Her sets are known for weaving moody, melodic touches with the high energy of techno, giving her music a pull that feels both personal and euphoric. Drawing on influences across cultures, she’s carved a style that avoids easy labels – one that should thrive under Coachella’s lights.

The festival has already hosted some landmark K-pop moments, from BLACKPINK’s headline slot to aespa’s main stage debut. The 2026 line-up continues that story. BIGBANG return as icons, TAEMIN steps into a new era as a soloist, and younger names like KATSEYE and YOUNA push the sound outward. Together, they show K-pop as not just a guest appearance at Coachella, but a permanent part of its story.
