Sojung: Hope Through Creation
Lee So-jung’s journey in the K-pop industry is marked by resilience and personal growth. Best known as a member of the girl group Ladies’ Code, Sojung initially gained public attention through The Voice of Korea in 2012, where she showcased her vocal prowess. In 2013, she debuted with Ladies’ Code, a group that quickly gained attention for their unique sound. A pivotal moment for Sojung came with her appearance on Sing Again in 2021, a vocal competition that gave her a fresh start. Through this platform, she reintroduced herself to the public, no longer just as Sojung from Ladies’ Code, but as Lee So-jung, a soloist with a distinct voice. Her heartfelt performances earned her widespread recognition, and she finished among the top six contestants. For Sojung, this experience allowed her to shed insecurities about stepping out on her own and reinforced her belief in her future as a solo artist.
