SEVENTEEN drops musical love letter to CARATs with "LOVE, MONEY, FAME" MV
By Anwaya Mane

As a long-time fan, what I love most about SEVENTEEN is their versatility and their ability to continually surprise listeners with their music. SEVENTEEN released their twelfth EP Spill The Feels, accompanied by its title track "LOVE, MONEY, FAME" feat. DJ Khaled on October 14.
The music video opens with the lines: "Choosing love over money and fame is easy to say, but hard to do. Without deep, genuine love, it can feel nearly impossible. So how to love...and how do you express it?" The camera centers on a contemplative and dashing Jeonghan, immediately capturing the viewer's attention. An artist's greatest dilemma often lies in choosing between love, money, and fame. While each option is tempting and has its own pros and cons, SEVENTEEN ultimately chooses love above all else, crafting a scintillating musical love letter to their devoted fanbase, CARATs, through the "LOVE, MONEY, FAME" music video.

"LOVE, MONEY, FAME" is composed by Woozi, Bumzu, and DJ Khaled, and serves as a heady cocktail of R&B, layered with strong hip-hop elements, all generously coated with K-pop aesthetics. It's a groovy, infectious track with an addictive chorus. The lyrics express a lover's unwavering dedication and deep commitment to their loved one, emphasizing how they mean everything, even more than money or fame. It's an added charm that the lyrics were written by Woozi and Vernon, alongside a talented team of songwriters. The beauty of a love song lies in its universality, and that's the musical currency SEVENTEEN masters effortlessly.
