The Muze Entertainment has announced that rookie girl group RESCENE will release their fourth mini album on November 3, 2026, almost a year after their last physical album project.
At present, no details regarding the project, its concept or its sound have been unveiled, but confirmation from the agency suggests that details are coming soon.
RESCENE debuted in March 2024 with the single album Re:Scene, which reached approximately 6,500 first day sales.Later that year, their first mini album SCENEDROME and the title track “Love Attack” followed – but it took almost two years and two further mini albums before the song broke into the charts and became RESCENE’s signature track. That virality came off the back of their special remake single, “Pretty Girl.”
In July 2026, RESCENE took over Korean music charts and social media channels with their remake of KARA’s 2008 hit “Pretty Girl.” It earned the relatively small group four music show trophies and career-high charting peaks, including their first number one on the MelOn HOT100 chart. Several months later, the song remains in MelOn’s TOP100. This time it sits alongside “Love Attack,” which shot to fame in a so-called “reverse run.” Instead of allowing the popularity of “Pretty Girl” fade, fans looked to RESCENE’s discography, proving that their appeal goes beyond a one-off occurrence.
Their third mini album Lip Bomb, released in November 2025,sold over 100,000 copies in its first week. At the time it was the quintet’s biggest release yet. Now, even RESCENE’s bread collaboration with South Korean convenience store chain CU is reaching those figures; according to BGF Retail, the firm that manages CU, 100,000 of the first product were sold in just four days.
Backed by these chart successes and a newfound domestic dominance of the industry, RESCENE are gearing up for a new mini album. As their first release since their sudden rise to fame, sales numbers are likely to surpass previous records by a significant margin. If the reception is positive, it has the capacity to cement RESCENE’s place among some of the biggest artists in K-pop, determining whether or not success from their viral moment will carry over to new music.
Additionally, it will indicate the musical direction RESCENE plans to take going forward. So far, all of their releases have leaned towards a bright, Y2K aesthetic with a focus on memory and fragrance. “Pretty Girl,” a similarly upbeat song that literally carries an early-2000s sound, already fits in with their discography – suggesting that a development of this identity will continue to achieve success.
Further details regarding PULSE are expected prior to November 3.
