Move over BLACKPINK – there are new girls in town

In a wild display of growth and rabid fandom, ILLIT now has the most monthly listeners of any girl group in K-pop, surpassing even BLACKPINK and NewJeans. With 17,719,779 monthly listeners, ILLIT now sits atop the throne. This is huge, given the group just recently made their debut. But “Magnetic,” their lead single, is putting up mad numbers, with 176 million streams in under 2 months.

 

They still trail Jennie, BTS, and Jungkook as the most-listened to K-pop group in the world. But they’re coming in hot, ranking 4th on Spotify overall. ILLIT is certainly a group to watch.
