In a move that further cements the convergence of high fashion and K-pop, Miu Miu has officially named Ella — vocalist and member of rising girl group MEOVV — as its latest brand ambassador. The appointment coincides with MEOVV’s latest musical chapter, as the group returns with a new single, “Hands Up,” a sharp and stylish pre-release ahead of their upcoming mini-album My Eyes Open VVIDE, out May 12.

Since debuting last year, MEOVV has quietly but confidently carved out a distinct identity within a crowded field, balancing polished sonics with an understated cool. Their newest track, “Hands Up,” dropped April 28 alongside a moody, cinematic video, signalling a slightly bolder edge — while keeping the group’s signature restraint intact.

As a perfect fit for the brand, Ella’s off-stage style — grounded in precise tailoring and a quietly subversive attitude — mirrors Miu Miu’s current creative arc under Miuccia Prada: part collegiate nostalgia, part post-pandemic reckoning. It’s no surprise, then, that her front-row appearance at the Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2025 show in Paris earlier this spring had already sparked murmurs of a deeper collaboration.

The confirmation now places her among a curated cohort of global tastemakers shaping the Miu Miu narrative, and a roster that skews toward artists who are as editorially compelling as they are commercially viable. It’s a natural next step for both Ella and the brand, and a signal of K-pop’s continued evolution not just as a musical movement, but as a cultural and aesthetic force.

As MEOVV prepares to usher in their next era, Ella’s dual ascent in both music and fashion serves as a case study in modern pop stardom — one where image, sound, and global resonance are increasingly inseparable.
