Mingi of ATEEZ has officially released FIX OFF Desire Project 1, a digital EP that pulls together the threads of his ongoing [FIX OFF] series.

The collection features “Tunnel,” the track that first set his solo journey in motion back in February 2024; “AUTOBAHN (Feat. Yunmin of TOUCHED),” which arrived earlier this year; and two new remixes of “ROAR,” his standout solo cut from ATEEZ’s GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3 ‘In Your Fantasy Edition’.

The EP marks the first time these songs have been presented as a complete body of work, as well as their first time being made available for streaming too. Taken together, they form a narrative arc that mirrors Mingi’s growth as both an artist and a person. “Tunnel” confronted his struggles with anxiety and self-doubt, setting a stark and vulnerable tone for the series. With “AUTOBAHN,” the mood shifted — the storm had passed, and the lyrics spoke of acceleration, confidence, and being unstoppable. “ROAR” added a new layer of defiance, unapologetically calling out critics and those who doubted ATEEZ’s stadium-filling credibility, while now, with its remixes, the track is reborn through fresh sonic lenses.

Part of what defines the [FIX OFF] series is Mingi’s heavy involvement behind the scenes. Across these releases, he has consistently taken on roles in songwriting, composition, arrangement, and even chorus recording and MIDI programming. His collaborators include QUAIMO, Long Drive, and The Need, but Mingi’s own fingerprints are unmistakable throughout. That level of creative ownership makes FIX OFF Desire Project 1 feel not just like an EP, but like an artist’s manifesto.

Lyrically, “ROAR” remains the most confrontational of the set. The hook — “They’re such a problem / They’re pure satire / They’re stuck in drama / They’re fake but viral” — cuts directly into online negativity and the absurdities of public perception. Fittingly, the track even opens with Mingi’s signature barking, a tongue-in-cheek but powerful gesture that plays like him barking back at the haters in his own style.

With FIX OFF Desire Project 1, Mingi gives shape to a solo story that has unfolded piece by piece since February last year. It’s a story of vulnerability, resilience, and defiance – and now, finally, a story fans can experience in full.
