King Of K-pop G-dragon Releases New Album Übermensch – His First Album In Twelve Years

Global tour kicks off with two nights in seoul in march, marking his first solo concert in 8 years
Global Korean superstar G-DRAGON returns with his highly anticipated new album, Übermensch, released via Galaxy Corporation and their partnership with leading independent record label EMPIRE. The album is now available to stream HERE.
Widely recognized as the “King of K-pop,” G-DRAGON gives fans eight tracks on Übermensch, alongside the release of music videos for two new songs, ‘DRAMA’ and ‘TOO BAD’ (feat. ANDERSON .PAAK). G-DRAGON will embark on a global tour, beginning with two highly anticipated shows at Goyang Stadium in Seoul on March 29 and 30, with pre-sale kicking off on February 26. This marks G-DRAGON’s first solo concert in eight years since his Act III, M.O.T.T.E world tour in 2017. Stateside, he will be seen next as the headliner for Head in the Clouds Festival in Los Angeles in May. He was also announced to perform at F1 Singapore in October, where he co-headlines with Elton John. While fans eagerly awaited new music, they embraced the previously released single ‘POWER’—an electrifying K-pop anthem showcasing G-DRAGON’s signature vocal prowess. Its fashion-forward music video (watch here) has captivated audiences worldwide. Similarly, ‘HOME SWEET HOME’ (feat. TAEYANG & DAESUNG) has garnered widespread attention. Together, the two tracks have amassed over 300 million streams and counting.

Kicking off 2025 in a major way, G-DRAGON has already delivered headline-making cultural moments, including a Vogue Korea cover feature (see here), a front-row appearance at CHANEL’s Spring-Summer 2025 Haute Couture Show in Paris, and a charismatic performance at Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes stadium show in Paris (see here).
ABOUT G-DRAGON:
Born Kwon Ji-Yong, hails from Seoul, South Korea and has been a prominent figure in the global music and K-Pop since the age of 13. In 2009, he shared his debut solo album, Heartbreaker, which topped Korea’s Gaon chart. A few years later his debut solo EP, One of a Kind, topped the Billboard World Albums chart. He immediately followed with sophomore album COUP D’ETAT which topped Korea’s Gaon Chart yet again. Early on, G-DRAGON signed to YG Entertainment and joined the popular boy band BIGBANG. 2008's Remember album from the group also topped Korea's Gaon chart.
G-DRAGON has over 2 billion career streams and musically worked with the likes of Diplo, Baauer, Missy Elliott, Sky Ferreira and Skrillex. He’s won World's Best Album at the 2014 World Music Awards and has been on magazine covers and television programs around the world. G-Dragon is a force in fashion, with his own coveted streetwear apparel brand called PEACEMINUSONE and campaigns and partnerships with Chanel, Nike, and BMW. Unsurprisingly, he was named to Business of Fashion 500 list. G-DRAGON also expanded into art, having been named to ArtNet’s Top 200 Art Collectors list in 2019 and he was a part of Frieze Seoul’s Now & Next artist series last year. This year, he is creating a perfume in collaboration with French perfumer Frédéric Malle and launched JUSPEACE which is a charity foundation to combat drug abuse in South Korea.
