JYP Entertainment’s rookie boy group KickFlip has announced their fifth mini album, KICK OFF THE WALL Pt. 1, alongside hints at their first world tour.
On September 7, an album scheduler was uploaded to KickFlip’s social media accounts. The short video clip sees a ‘KickFlip’-branded skateboard fly towards a wall, causing shards of brick to fall and reveal each dated teaser and event. Amongst them are the expected concept photos and films, the tracklist and previews, and the unveiling of the album’s release date: October 6, 2026.
Some dates, however, hint at larger plans. On September 14, the group will open the second edition of their WeFlip fan membership recruitment. A day later, a new collection of representative characters will join JYP merchandise releases as KickFlip’s are showcased for the first time in a 3D film. On October 18 and 19, following the comeback, a pop-up store will be held. One final, undated section hints at future plans; the group’s first world tour, <KICK OFF THE WALL>, scheduled for 2027.
Both the tour announcement and the Pt. 1 addition to the album name suggests that KICK OFF THE WALL Pt. 1 marks the beginning of a new chapter for KickFlip. It will likely see further albums aligning to form a series alongside the overarching tour name. This chapter will be the first to expand KickFlip’s activities to an international level, though to which continents is currently unknown as specific stops are yet to be announced.
KickFlip have performed internationally in the past, most recently on August 14, 2026, at KCON in Los Angeles. They also performed at KCON Japan this summer, and have two more events in Tokyo lined up over the next month. At the beginning of 2026, the group completed their first domestic concert tour, <From KickFlip, To WeFlip>, with six stops across South Korea. <KICK OFF THE WALL> will be their second tour, and their first time holding a solo concert anywhere outside of the country.
Teasers for the album will be rolled out over the coming weeks, with further information about the world tour “coming soon.”
