Kang Daniel gives a sweet shock to his fans in latest comeback

Going through legal issues that are deeply embedded into a structure can be very time- and energy-consuming. For an artist who is actiley putting out music, such instances can lead to a deficit in having a proper structure to get the music to their fans. Kang Daniel was away on a 15-month hiatus. His absence was caused because of major legal issues with his former label KONNECT Entertainment. But he is now back and he is stronger than ever! He joined a new label ARA and geared up to release ACT, his fifth overall and first EP with his new label.

 

In the concept photos for his fifth EP ACT, Kang Daniel was initially seen dressed in dapper tuxedos and sporting an assortment of jewelry to complete the look. The tuxedos are red and black in color, showcasing a duality of tones and emotions. Then there is another set where he is dressed in a semi formal attireWhen we take a look at the official music video, we see this duality of character again! 

 

In another set of concept photos for this EP, we see an old machine punching out small paper with lines on it. There are knobs and buttons to work the machine and the photo is titled “Spoiler Lines.” The album art features a deep purple heart against a black background. A lightning bolt is passing through the heart and similar small ones are popping from within. Kang Daniel’s comeback to the K-pop music scene after such a long hiatus is quite a remarkable tale that speaks volumes about his passion, resilience and love for the art.
