K-pop idols who don't have to serve in the military

 

It's known all around the world that South Korean men – famous musicians and entertainers included – have to complete between 1.5 - 3 years of mandatory military service depending on their branch and the roles they assume. All able-bodied men must enlist by the time they turn 28. 

 

However, these five artists won't have to serve because of one simple fact: they are not South Korean citizens.
