ifeye Leave Hi-Hat Entertainment for New Agency Chorokbaem Music

by Isabel Miller

Girl group ifeye have officially left their previous agency Hi-Hat Entertainment, and will now promote under the same name with the new Chorokbaem Music agency.

On November 2, Hi-Hat Entertainment announced through its official social media channels that the exclusive contracts of all six ifeye members had come to an end on November 1. Following “lengthy discussions” over the group’s future, both parties reportedly reached a mutual agreement to conclude their partnership. The company gave no explanation regarding the cause of this sudden conclusion, but expressed gratitude for both the fans and the members for their hard work and dedication.

However, fans can remain confident that this is not the end of ifeye. The next section of Hi-Hat Entertainment’s statement reads: “Starting today (November 2nd), the six members will continue their group activities under the name ifeye at their new agency, CRB Music (Chorokbaem Music), in order to continue being together with their fans.”

Not only will the group remain together, an agreement has been reached for KASIA, WON HWAYEON, TAERIN, RAHEE, MEU and SASHA to continue releasing music and completing promotions under the name “ifeye.” Their social media accounts and fan community on Plus Chat will remain unchanged and updates will continue to be shared through these familiar channels, reassuring fans that they will not miss any future announcements.

Meanwhile, Chorokbaem Media has welcomed the group to its newly launched music division, Chorokbaem Music, in quotes given to various media organisations. The company expressed its commitment to support ifeye, utilising the wider Chorokbaem Media group’s resources across entertainment, drama production, broadcasting and digital content to help the members grow as artists. As ifeye is the first artist within the company’s new music division, it will be interesting to see how they handle this venture into music. On this occasion, teaming up with ifeye makes sense; the group already have an established fanbase that Chorokbaem Music can draw on as they begin to push ifeye to further success.

ifeye, meaning “Imagine & Find, Energetic Young Eyes,” debuted in April 2025 with the mini album ERLU BLUE and title track “NERDY.” Since then, they have released two further mini albums – sweet tang and As if – and have gained popularity for the distinctive sound developed in songs like “r u ok?” and “Hazy (Daisy).”

As ifeye enter this new chapter under Chorokbaem Music, anticipation is rising for new music, online content, and performances. Further information is expected in the coming months.
