LE SSERAFIM has never intended to blend in. Since debuting with ‘FEARLESS’ in 2022, the girl group has built an identity around clothes that enter the room before they do. Spearheaded by cropped silhouettes, micro hemlines, glossy leather, oversized denim and enough attitude to make every music video look like a runway. Fashion was baked into their image from day one – Huh Yunjin has described the foundation of LE SSERAFIM’s aesthetic as being based on runway concepts, with model walks and sleek silhouettes recurring throughout their visual language no matter the era.
With “Made My Night”, LE SSERAFIM are no longer simply dressing to look fearless – they are dressing like a group that knows exactly what it feels like to have millions of people watching and waiting for their next move. Instead of hiding from the cameras, they are dressing to catch every flash.
LE SSERAFIM’s 2022 era remains one of the clearest examples of the group’s early fashion renaissance, presented as colorful, sporty, slightly chaotic and deliberately tough. The ‘ANTIFRAGILE’ music video sees them continue to play dress up as a meteor approaches Earth, representing their dedication to the look. Between cargo pants, denim, cropped tops, motocross references and punchy beauty choices, LE SSERAFIM announced to the world that being well-dressed is always a priority. Yunjin summed up their mentality perfectly at the time, explaining that even when everything is a mess, she still wants to look good and express herself to the fullest. LE SSERAFIM’s confidence has never shined away from the spotlight, proposing that the emerging K-pop idols never step out without a bang.
By “EASY” in 2024, LE SSERAFIM’s music had started questioning the confidence their earlier work projected. The EP dealt with the anxiety, work and insecurity hiding behind the illusion that everything comes naturally. Their wardrobe followed the concept visually, honing in on loose and unpolished streetwear. Oversized trousers, distressed layers, bold graphics, and pieces that looked intentionally undone replaced some of the cleaner silhouettes of their debut. When the songs said they were antifragile, they dressed for impact, and when they admitted things were not actually easy, their clothes became messier too.
If early LE SSERAFIM dressed like they could survive anything, ‘HOT’ asked what happens when they stop trying to prove it. For the 2025 comeback, their visual director Yoon Cho described the concept as “boho-chic,” deliberately moving away from the oversized and athletic wardrobe that had become part of the group’s signature. Flowing silhouettes and more traditionally feminine pieces from brands including Chloé and Mirror Palais quickly entered LE SSERAFIM’s visual universe.
From lace details to bell-bottom denim and an effortless countryside energy to rugged cowboy boots and delicate ruffles, LE SSERAFIM’s newly-found femininity almost felt rebellious.
LE SSERAFIM’s latest era arrives after years of experiencing the less glamorous side of being one of K-pop’s most visible girl groups. “Made My Night” is lighter, centering the chemistry and excitement of spending a night with someone special. Its accompanying visuals also reconnect LE SSERAFIM with Overwatch’s gameplay skins, transforming Sakura Miyawaki, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae into battle-ready digital characters.
What makes “Made My Night” feel different is how little LE SSERAFIM’s wardrobe seems interested in proving toughness. The utilitarian cargos, motocross references and overtly athletic silhouettes that once helped define the group have given way to cleaner lines, sharper tailoring and a more controlled kind of femininity. Even when the styling plays with sensuality or skin, it feels less like the rebellious confidence of ‘ANTIFRAGILE’ blended with increased self awareness for a group that knows that everyone is watching. There is still experimentation, but the visual noise has been turned down, allowing attitude, posture and personality to carry them further. If early LE SSERAFIM dressed like they were ready to fight the world, “Made My Night” suggests they have already conquered it.
LE SSERAFIM’s name famously rearranges into “I’M FEARLESS,” but their fashion has become more interesting as their music has complicated that idea. Fearlessness in 2022 looked like dressing for the apocalypse, now it’s projected as glistening sequins and sensual party gear. LE SSERAFIM turned scrutiny into an aesthetic as they learned to adjust to the cameras, turning down the volume and brightening their lights for the entire world to see without needing to adjust the power.
