EVNNE Celebrates Their First Debut Anniversary with the Release of “TROUBLE (arcon Remix)”
September 19th, 2024 (New York, NY)
EVNNE has released the third installment of their remix project, this time collaborating with DJ and producer arcon to reinterpret their debut song, “TROUBLE”. arcon, who helmed the production of “Badder Love,” the title track of EVNNE’s third mini-album, RIDE or DIE, combined the 4x4 drum rhythm of UK Garage with elements from rave-style music and a new bassline to transform the original version of “TROUBLE,” a Baltimore club track, to a house music version. The result is a more mature and refined sound, reflective of EVNNE’s musical development and growth from their debut until now.
“TROUBLE,” the title track of EVNNE’s debut mini-album, Target: ME, was first released on September 19th, 2023. This debut marked a definitively strong start to the group’s career, with the record selling over 200,000 copies in its first week. Since its release, the music video for “TROUBLE” has garnered over four million views on YouTube, and the track has recorded over ten million streams on Spotify. Additionally, in the week of March 30th, “TROUBLE” was listed at #2 on the Billboard LyricFind U.S. Chart.
The release of “TROUBLE (arcon Remix)” commemorates the group’s first anniversary and comes after an incredibly busy year for the group. Back in January, EVNNE released their second mini-album, Un: SEEN, which was soon followed by their third mini, RIDE or DIE, released in June. Amongst the promotion for these releases, EVNNE also embarked on two tours. In May, they greeted their fans in Asia through their 2024 EVNNE FAN-CONCERT [SQUAD:R] ASIA TOUR, and performed for their North American fans on the Ride with EVNNE Showcase Tour in August. Recently, Billboard named EVNNE the August 2024 K-Pop Rookie of the Month.
