SEVENTEEN’s youngest member DINO has released a new solo digital single, titled “AUTOMATIC.”

“AUTOMATIC” captures the thrill of falling in love and uniting with a partner, with a refreshing, upbeat sound led by rhythmic bass and guitar riffs. DINO’s vocals transition between rap and falsetto, displaying his range as the song progresses. As it was both written and produced by DINO himself, there is also a personal touch to the song and its value as a surprise single released solely for fans.

Released today, November 3, 2026, the single has been scheduled only eight days after DINO enlisted in the military as a member of the Army Military Band alongside SEVENTEEN’s SEUNGKWAN. “AUTOMATIC” serves as a gift for fans who will now be without DINO for approximately 18 months aside from pre-recorded content, and somewhat acts as a promise of his return.

Additionally, as the pair are the final members of SEVENTEEN to enlist, the single holds further significance. All other eligible members – WONWOO, HOSHI, WOOZI, VERNON, MINGYU, and DK – are currently completing their service requirement, JEONGHAN having already returned from his. Therefore, as fans react to the news that they will now be without a full SEVENTEEN comeback until at least 2028, this single responds with a message of love and support.

DINO first previewed “AUTOMATIC” in August during his solo show in Seoul, as part of the ‘2026 DINO X PICHEOLIN [吉BOARD SHOW].’ The concert tour was created in celebration of DINO’s first solo mini album 吉BOARD(Gilboard), which played with his comedic alter-ego PICHEOLIN. He held three shows in Seoul, followed by three in Macau, China in October – all of which were sold out. In total, approximately 46,000 fans attended across both regions. The official release of “AUTOMATIC” adds to this successful streak, and to DINO’s growing discography as a soloist.

A performance video for “AUTOMATIC” can also be found on the SEVENTEEN and PLEDIS Entertainment YouTube channels, which sees DINO dancing and grinning in a car park with a group of back-up dancers.

“AUTOMATIC” by DINO is available to stream and download on global streaming services now.
