Hope everyone’s Sunday (or whenever you’re reading this) is going well! Sometimes it can be hard to actually relax over the weekend when the week has been so much to focus on. Well if that sounds like you, we suggest giving “Freckles” a listen.

The track is mostly your typical electro-indie ditty, though it leans pretty heavily into lounge tones, with pulsating pads, smooth guitar, and lofi drum beats. The track feels like how that first glass of water does in the morning when you wake up, and it makes for a rather enjoyable, relaxing sensation. The song is far from boring though, as it takes only the best elements from chillwave and is sure to keep the energy running.

Is it the most amazing, revolutionary track to ever come out of Korea or Korean musicians? No, but it’s also not trying to be. It’s just a pretty nice song, and should help your excitable mind calm down a bit if you need
