Daily Non-K-pop Spotlight: “눈이 마주쳤을 때” by O.O.O

Opening with an isolated bass line is always a risky move, but this song’s bass line is so groovy you know immediately it’s going to slap. The bass carries the entire song, even as funk guitar and effortless vocals enter. There are moments when the frenetic bass chills on whole notes to build anticipation, but when it drops back in on the chorus it feels so good. It also features an insanely well executed funk guitar solo after the first chorus that needs to be heard by way more people. That guitarmony is fire.
