CORTIS

to Perform at the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore

By Isabel Miller

CORTIS have joined the line-up for Singapore’s Formula 1 Grand Prix, scheduled to take place in October at Marina Bay.

They will join JJ Lin, Spacey Jane, Borderline, Shingo Nakamura, Split Enz, Major Lazer Soundsystem, DJ Snake, Tokimonsta and more on 9 October 2026, performing on the event’s opening day. Across the remainder of the weekend, global stars such as Janet Jackson, James Arthur, Zara Larsson and SNSD’s Hyoyeon will take the stage – but CORTIS remains the only K-pop group to perform.

Formula 1 is the world’s largest racing series. It sees 22 drivers, split into 11 teams, compete for the World Drivers' Championship across 24 rounds. The series spans 22 countries, and while there are other races in Asia – the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, and the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka – the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore is the largest motorsport event on the continent.

As is typical of several of the races, Singapore’s Grand Prix offers evening entertainment for its roughly 300,000 attendees. CORTIS are the latest K-pop group to have been invited to perform at the event, with girl group BABYMONSTER performing in 2024 and legends G-Dragon and CL performing in 2025. Other idols have also attended as guests of various teams or brands, with members of BLACKPINK and SEVENTEEN being seen on several occasions and ENHYPEN visiting the Red Bull garage in Singapore last year.

This comes as one in a sequence of international events for CORTIS. On 20 June they performed at Indonesia’s Allo Bank Festival, and they will make their U.S. festival debut next month as the only male K-pop group in the lineup for this year’s Lollapalooza Chicago. In September, they will also make their European debut at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona as part of the yearly European Music Bank. Each acts as promotion for the group, testing their popularity on international stages alongside their first world tour <PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN> which commences across South Korea, Japan and North America from July.

The F1/K-pop crossover is becoming a consistent fixture rather than a novelty – and for CORTIS, the booking lands just over a year after their August 2025 debut, a marker of how quickly their profile has grown internationally. Both industries have spent recent years cultivating younger audiences and platforming emerging talent, and their increasing overlap reflects that shared momentum.
