CLC - Concept Changeup Queens of Kpop

CLC, short for CrystaL Clear, emerged as a dynamic force in K-pop under Cube Entertainment. Debuting in 2015 with members Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn, and Yeeun, they quickly garnered attention through street performances and their debut EP "First Love," featuring the infectious track "Pepe." Their early years saw them experimenting with various concepts and sounds, solidifying their presence with releases like Crystyle and "BLACK DRESS," which showcased their versatility and evolving voice.

Despite initial success and international recognition, CLC navigated challenges including member changes and periods of inactivity. The group underwent a significant reformation in 2016, adding Elkie and Eunbin to their lineup, expanding their reach with Japanese debuts and chart-topping singles like "Hobgoblin" and "No." CLC's achievements spanned both Korean and Japanese markets and was bolstered by their distinct blend of pop, hip-hop, and EDM influences.

However, by 2022, after a hiatus and amidst internal changes within Cube Entertainment, CLC's official activities came to an end. Member departures and the discontinuation of their global fansite service marked the closure of this chapter for the group. Despite this, CLCis remembered for their journey from humble beginnings to becoming a beloved group cherished for their talent, resilience, and memorable contributions to the industry.
