Check Out the Comeback Photos for WAKER’s 2nd Mini-Album!

2024 has been filled with plenty of great rookie concepts. From BABYMONSTER’s absolute dominance to ILLIT’s viral success, there’s been no shortage of great K-pop newbies. However, one group that might have gone under the radar for you is WAKER. The group debuted at the very start of the year, and despite a mild amount of attention, didn’t really shake things up too much for K-pop as a whole.

 

Well they’re not letting a quiet start dissuade them from giving it their all, and have recently announced their upcoming second mini-album, titled Sweet Tape. The group looks great in these group shots promoting the upcoming release, but the thing that stands out is just how fresh these boys still look. They haven’t been crushed by the machine that is the entertainment industry, and look excited and ready to make a splash wherever they land. We love seeing idols who are still enthusiastic about the music and opportunities ahead!
