BTS’ J-Hope Honored for Completing Military Service with Warm Celebration

BTS member J-Hope has officially completed his mandatory military service, and fans, friends, and fellow soldiers are celebrating the milestone. On October 18, J-Hope took to social media to share the moment with his followers, posting the caption “2023.4.18 ~ 2024.10.17,” alongside a series of photos and videos documenting his journey in the military.
One of the highlights of J-Hope’s post was a surprise discharge party thrown by his close friends. As he entered the room, they greeted him enthusiastically, chanting “J-Hope, J-Hope” while confetti poppers filled the air, creating a joyful atmosphere for the BTS star’s return to civilian life. The celebration was a heartfelt show of support after his 18-month service.

The photos J-Hope shared also included a snapshot of him in his military uniform, beaming with a large bouquet in his arms. His smile reflected the relief and pride of completing his duty. Along with this, he posted images from his time as a soldier, showing camaraderie with fellow servicemen, giving fans a glimpse into his military experience.
J-Hope officially discharged from his post on October 17 at the 36th Infantry Division Baekho Recruit Training Center in Wonju, Gangwon Province. He began his service in April 2023 and served as a drill instructor, fulfilling his role with dedication before rejoining his BTS members and fans in the next chapter of his career.
