To Broadcast Buenos Aires and São Paulo Shows Live to Cinemas Worldwide

By Hasan Beyaz

The BTS 'ARIRANG' world tour is heading to South America – and this time, the cinema broadcasts are coming with it.

Trafalgar Releasing, HYBE, and BIGHIT MUSIC have announced live viewing events for BTS' upcoming Buenos Aires and São Paulo concerts, marking the fourth and fifth cinema broadcasts tied to the tour. Previous live viewings from Goyang and Tokyo in April, and Busan in June, brought their full-length stadium shows to cinema screens worldwide. The Latin American events extend into the final stretch of the year, with both broadcasts offered as complete concerts. Both shows feature the tour's signature 360-degree in-the-round stage design, the same configuration that has defined the live experience across every date so far.

The Buenos Aires show has particular significance: it will be BTS' first-ever performance in Argentina. For a group operating at stadium scale across multiple continents, a debut in a major South American market is a notable gap finally being closed – and doing it as part of the most commercially successful tour of their career sharpens that context further.

South America has historically been one of the most passionate and underserved markets in live music at the stadium level, but also has a reputation for crowd intensity that artists frequently cite. For BTS to be making that first appearance not on a tentative regional leg, but as part of the highest-grossing tour of their career, says something about how BIGHIT MUSIC and HYBE are sequencing this comeback.

Broadcast dates are split by territory. The Buenos Aires concert screens on 24 October for the Americas and 25 October for the rest of the world. São Paulo follows on 30 October for the Americas and 31 October globally. Tickets go on sale Thursday 17 September at 6AM PT / 9AM ET / 2PM BST, with screening times varying by territory to accommodate local time zones. The tour's commercial performance has been difficult to put in conventional terms. On the Billboard April Top Tours chart, the 'ARIRANG' world tour grossed more than double its closest competitor – a margin that doesn't usually emerge within a single chart cycle. The album that anchors the tour, BTS' fifth studio album ARIRANG, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 641,000 equivalent album units in its opening week, the largest figure for a group since 2014. All 14 tracks occupied the top 14 spots of Spotify's Global Top 50 chart simultaneously. Lead single "SWIM" debuted at No. 1.

Since the Busan anniversary broadcast in June, the tour's surrounding narrative has continued to build. BTS performed at the World Cup final on 19 July, and in September picked up Artist of the Year at the 2026 American Music Awards for the second consecutive year.

Trafalgar CEO Marc Allenby cited the group's "first ever performance in Argentina" as a headline draw in a statement accompanying the announcement. With the Latin American leg closing out the tour's run of cinema broadcasts for 2026, the facts around Buenos Aires and São Paulo say everything: two major cities, back to back, in a region BTS have never played at this scale before.
