BIGHIT MUSIC, the label that shaped BTS into a global phenomenon, has opened the door to a new generation of talent. Today, the company announced the launch of the 2025 BIGHIT MUSIC Global Audition, a large-scale search spanning 13 cities and an online submission process that runs through the end of the year.

The audition is open to any male born in or after 2007, regardless of background or skillset. That openness reflects how the label – also home to TOMORROW X TOGETHER and rookie group CORTIS – continues to position itself as a hub for boundary-pushing artists rather than just traditional trainees. Online applications are now live, with in-person auditions scheduled from October through December across Los Angeles, Toronto, Sydney, Melbourne, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Bangkok, Jakarta, Singapore, Osaka, Tokyo, Taipei and Seoul.

For the Los Angeles and Bangkok stops, BIGHIT is going a step further by staging pop-up events that blend K-pop fan culture with interactive tech. Alongside Korean food tastings and photo zones, visitors will be able to try out AI-powered voice comparison sessions courtesy of Supertone – essentially matching their vocals against existing BIGHIT artists. It’s a crossover of fandom, technology and discovery that makes the audition feel more like a cultural showcase than a one-off casting call.

In a statement, BIGHIT said its goal is to create “a unique experience that goes beyond a simple audition by blending K-pop and AI technology.” For hopefuls, though, the stakes are obvious: this is one of the few chances to step directly into the pipeline of a company that has already redefined what a Korean boy group can achieve worldwide.

Full details of the audition can be found on the official BIGHIT MUSIC Audition website.
