ATEEZ

Return with ‘GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5,’ Alongside Music Video Starring Chase Infiniti

By Isabel Miller

ATEEZ has returned with the fifth installment of their GOLDEN HOUR series, led by title track “BAD” and an accompanying music video starring Chase Infiniti.

The album, titled GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, was released 26 June 2026 and consists of five tracks: “BAD,” “MAMACITA,” “TOXIN,” “Fallin’,” and “Body.” It continues the ongoing narrative across ATEEZ’s releases, presenting another element of life’s brightest moments or “golden hours,” but also marks a return to a style previously touched on by the group in songs such as “ARRIBA” and “Blind.” Similar Latin American influences are showcased throughout, with the title track, “BAD,” at the forefront as a Brazilian funk-inspired dance track.

The music video has sparked responses online, as it features Hollywood actress Chase Infiniti. Infiniti is best known for her role in award-winning action-comedy-thriller film One Battle After Another, which received critical acclaim upon its release last year. The film declared Infiniti an up-and-coming star, placing her alongside industry legends such as Leonardo DiCaprio immediately upon her film debut.

Prior to becoming recognised as an actress, Chase Infiniti posted K-pop dance videos online. She has since talked at length in interviews about being a fan of ATEEZ in particular and has repeatedly been seen with photocards and merchandise of ATEEZ’s San, Wooyoung and Yeosang. Now, she stands at the centre of ATEEZ’s most recent music video, admired by the group as she becomes the physical manifestation of the “Sopro” cube controlling their minds and leading them towards dangerous temptations.

Each of the album’s five songs explores this temptation lyrically, detailing narratives of love, attraction and the lingering effects of both. It showcases ATEEZ’s ability across a diverse range of musical styles, including electronic dance, Latin funk and R&B.

The group’s February release, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4, reached number 1 on the iTunes top album chart in 31 countries, marked their seventh number 1 on the Billboard Top Albums chart in the U.S., and sold 1.54 million copies worldwide in its first week. While the fifth installment of the GOLDEN HOUR series comes only three months after the fourth, the two showcase very different styles, and it will be interesting to track any differences in their placement on global charts.

It is currently unclear how many albums the GOLDEN HOUR series will consist of, as it has already surpassed the number of parts designated to ATEEZ’s previous WORLD and FEVER series’. The members have expressed that the GOLDEN HOUR series in particular aims to experiment, and this has been seen with aspects of Latin music genres weaving through certain tracks. However, the group are yet to take this experimentation into other genres, so there may still be further GOLDEN HOUR sequels.

Amid promotions, ATEEZ are set to perform as a headliner at the BST Hyde Park festival in London this Sunday and will also be headlining the Rock in Roma festival in Italy on July 8; ATEEZ are also set for a performance of “BAD” on The Kelly Clarkson Show on 1 July.
