ARTMS Release “Blue Blood (DEMO Ver.)” Following Fan Vote

by Isabel Miller

MODHAUS have officially released a new version of ARTMS’ most recent title track “Blue Blood” on streaming services, titled “Blue Blood (DEMO Ver.).”

“Blue Blood” is the title track of ARTMS’ second mini album <Hyper-Ego>. Released August 7, 2026, the album consists of six songs in total. Interestingly, however, “Blue Blood” was not immediately slated to be the title. Back in March, MODHAUS launched the ARTMS 2026 ALBUM CONCEPT TRACK GRAVITY on their COSMO app, which asked fans to choose between short snippets of songs named “Blue Blood,” “Hyper Crush,” “Icarus Gang,” and “Anti-believe.” “Blue Blood” became the title track with 63% of votes, while “Hyper Crush” and “Icarus Gang” became B-sides – though another popular choice, “Anti-believe” (25%), has not yet been officially released.

Polls, under the name ARTMS EVENT GRAVITY, have been regularly used by MODHAUS since ARTMS’ debut in 2024. They give ARTMS’ fans, OURII, the chance to influence the groups content; previous polls have controlled song releases, special performances and covers, and encore setlists. The concept is unique and has been appreciated by fans online as it gives them direct involvement with the group, and previous decisions, such as over their debut single “Birth,” have proven successful.

This time around, after “Blue Blood” was chosen for the title track of <Hyper-Ego>, the snippet initially presented to fans was adjusted during the period between the vote and the album’s release five months later. Where the snippet’s instrumental carried a stronger bassline and relentless electronic synth, the released version of “Blue Blood” leaned into ARTMS’ overall aesthetic with more of an airy, otherworldly approach that spikes at certain moments. Both are distinctly hyper-pop, but one has been tuned to fit into the <Hyper-Ego> tracklist.

Two months on, ARTMS have now released the extended version of that first snippet, named “Blue Blood (DEMO Ver.).” Its official audio was uploaded to the ARTMS YouTube channel on October 2, accompanied with new visuals that position the members in and around an old car with cinematic, flashing lights, and it is available on global streaming services as of October 22.

The release showcases the impact of allowing fans to contribute to an artist’s content, as it has been met with excitement online. Equally, it places ARTMS in a great position as they continue on their <Art of BLUE BLOOD> World Tour, giving the leading song that the tour is named after an additional boost with a new version. The tour is currently taking place in North America, and is set to continue on to Europe in November.

“Blue Blood (DEMO Ver.)” by ARTMS is available to stream and download now.
