AMPERS&ONE Announce First Full Album ‘PATHFINDER’ for November 17

by Hasan Beyaz

AMPERS&ONE are preparing to take their next step with the announcement of their first full-length album, ‘PATHFINDER,’ arriving November 17 at 6PM KST. The release marks a new milestone for the seven-member group, who have spent 2026 expanding their international presence through record-breaking album sales and their first world tour.

The album’s rollout began October 30 with ‘OPENING SEQUENCE | PRESS START,’ a teaser drawing on nostalgic 1980s and 1990s imagery. Centred around a vintage television and retro video game console, the clip moves through medieval imagery of crowns, swords and knights before a boy presses ‘START’ on a controller, triggering an explosion that reveals a new AMPERS&ONE logo. The updated design incorporates a sword into the ampersand, introducing the visual identity behind the upcoming release.

On November 1, the group unveiled ‘WE ARE UNCROWNED,’ a cinematic main sequence confirming the album’s title and release date. Set in a seaside town, the video sees members Kamden, Brian, Jiho, Siyun, Kyrell, Mackiah and Seungmo appear with swords, daggers and crowns while reflecting on identity, ambition and the choices that have shaped their journey. Delivered in both Korean and English, the narration builds towards a shared declaration: “Our own path. The true path of kings.”

The message comes into focus as Kamden closes the sequence with the words, “To be kings without crowns. This is the path we claim as our own,” positioning ‘PATHFINDER’ as a statement of the group’s identity and the direction they intend to pursue.

Further details were revealed on November 3 through the album scheduler, which confirmed the pre-order and pre-save rollout, upcoming music video teasers and ‘THE WAY BEGINS,’ a showcase scheduled to take place at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul.

‘PATHFINDER’ follows a particularly strong year for AMPERS&ONE. In April, the group released their fourth mini album, ‘DEFINITION,’ led by title track “GOD.” The release sold more than 152,000 copies in its first week, according to Hanteo Chart, setting a new personal record and surpassing the 108,000 first-week sales achieved by their August 2025 release ‘LOUD & PROUD.’

The group also completed their first world tour, the 2026 AMPERS&ONE Live Tour ‘Born to Define,’ which launched in Seoul in May. The international run included 17 North American dates, four shows in Asia and five across Europe, concluding September 24 at EartH in London. Among its highlights was a sold-out performance at New York City’s Gerald W. Lynch Theater.

With ‘PATHFINDER,’ AMPERS&ONE now turn towards their first full-length release, building on the momentum of a year that has seen them reach new commercial milestones and introduce themselves to audiences across multiple continents.
