ALPHA DRIVE ONE To Release Digital Single of “Talk to me”
by Isabel Miller

WakeOne has announced that their fifth generation boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE will release the digital single “Talk to me” on October 22, 2026 – a track that has already been released as a B-side of their second mini album, UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST.
A cinema poster shared on social media features ALPHA DRIVE ONE posed in water, their skin illuminated by contrasting warm and cool tones reflected across the surface. The poster also reveals a new release date for “Talk to me”, which will now arrive as a standalone single.
Further cinema cut images depict the members individually, several against a city skyline at a restaurant, some in water, and others in what appears to be a hotel room, again half in warm light and half in cold light. That contrast is what gives the images their cinematic effect, while the images themselves and cinematic framing teases a music video.

UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST was released on August 24, led by the title track “BORN DIRE.” It contains six B-sides: “Diamond Hour,” “One More Time,” “Talk to me,” “OMG!”, “Good Life,” and “WELCOME home.” Overall, the album became the group’s second million-seller. As the title track, “BORN DIRE” was performed by the group on various music shows and ultimately achieved a triple crown, winning first place on The Show, Show Champion, and Music Bank in early September.
Almost two months later, ALPHA DRIVE ONE are returning to promotions with a digital single, taking an unconventional approach to the typical pre-release rollout. Artists often extend album promotions beyond a lead single, whether through multiple title tracks, separate promotional periods for pre-released songs, or later music videos for B-sides to renew interest in a release. ALPHA DRIVE ONE are taking a different route, pairing a new music video for the alt-pop track “Talk to me” with its official release as a standalone digital single, giving the song a fresh promotional moment.
The move makes them stand out, drawing out that reignition process two months after the album’s initial release while also giving them a better chance for the song to chart with its own dedicated release instead of streaming the original B-side. It is unclear whether they plan to complete an entire promotional sequence with more music show performances, but the Sports Kyunghyang article reposted by WakeOne mentions “follow-up activities.” A new single prompts curiosity over the group’s intentions for the song, and that will work in their favour.
ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s digital single “Talk to me” will be available to stream on global music services on October 22.
