Nine-member K-pop group AHOF have officially made their debut, releasing their first mini album WHO WE ARE on July 1 through F&F Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment. It’s a bold opening chapter for the group, who first came together on the global survival show Universe League and have spent the months since building a quiet but dedicated following.
Short for “All-time Hall Of Famer,” AHOF’s name hints at the kind of legacy they’re aiming for, grounded in emotion, effort, and longevity. The lineup includes STEVEN, JEONGWOO, WOONGKI, ZHANG SHUAIBO, HAN, JL, JUWON, CHIH EN, and DAISUKE, each bringing their own perspective and sound to the table.
Produced by EL CAPITXN, who’s been with the group since their trainee days, WHO WE ARE offers a clear snapshot of where the members are coming from, and the emotional weight behind their debut.
The title track “Rendezvous” blends alternative rock and synth textures into something cinematic, pairing big vocals with a sense of dreamlike anticipation. It’s not flashy for the sake of it, building slowly, then hitting with intent.
Other tracks show more sides of the group. “The Little Star (Intro)” opens the project with warmth and nostalgia, while “The Universe” leans into guitar-led pop with a hopeful tone. “Incompleted” stands out as a delicate, slightly moody ballad, and “Cosmic Underdog” brings energy back in with a self-aware, upbeat swing. Closing track “AHOF (Outro)” strips things down — quiet, reflective, and close to the chest.
AHOF’s strength lies in how grounded they feel for a group this new. There’s polish, but also restraint. They aren’t rushing to prove everything at once — just enough to say: this is us, and here’s what we’ve got to offer.
