With Min Hee Jin still in control, ADOR begins all-out PR war

We’ve been watching an absolute meltdown over the past several months in the battle between HYBE and ADOR. After Min Hee Jin was granted her injunction request against HYBE, preventing them from removing her as CEO of HYBE’s subsidiary label, she has wasted no time in continuing to stir up trouble on behalf of NewJeans.

It seems like the common thread to all of her actions so far has been to make strategic decisions to keep NewJeans successful, safe, popular, and profitable. The legal battle began, after all, with HYBE discovering Min Hee Jin was allegedly trying to take NewJeans away from under the thumb of HYBE’s managerial control.

We saw just how quickly public perception shifted away from both Min Hee Jin and NewJeans – even though NewJeans was able to retain most of their fans. That’s what happens when you’re up against an uber wealthy mass media company. But now, ADOR (with Min Hee Jin still in control) is hitting back.

Claiming a mass disinformation and misinformation is being conducted to defame and harass members of NewJeans, ADOR is beginning to monitor and investigate suspicious online activity at the hands of bots and sockpuppet accounts. It sounds a little paranoise/conspiracy theory-esque, but in an age of deep fakes and proven spam farms, it’s hard to tell what’s true or false online. ADOR is so confident this is happening, however, that they’ve threatened legal action in an official statement. You can read that official statement below.

Hello, this is ADOR.

We continuously monitor various community sites to identify malicious comments, reverse viral attacks, malicious slander and insults, and defamation due to the spread of false information regarding NewJeans members. In particular, we have noticed a recent increase in high-level malicious posts targeting NewJeans using anonymity.

We are preparing for civil and criminal lawsuits in response, and we inform you that there will be no leniency or settlement under any circumstances during this process.

Even for posts on anonymous community sites, which are usually difficult to track, we will use all means and methods to identify and take legal action.

Below is the information on how to report cases of illegal activities that infringe on the rights of NewJeans.

If you find any cases of malicious posts or other illegal activities, please actively report them to the ADOR legal response official account (protect@ador.world).

We are always grateful for the unwavering support from our fans.

We will continue to strive to protect the rights of NewJeans members.

Thank you.
