Last week, BTS’ Rap Monster set the internet on fire with a live studio performance. All one take, he takes viewers on a virtual tour of his studio as he raps and sings over a borderline schizophrenic backing track featuring detuned synths, heavy guitar, and hip hop beats. 

 

The feeling of going crazy begins with the song’s hypnotic hook and quick cuts to stills of RM’s life. It gets completely unhinged by the end, with the song ending on a surprisingly dark harmonic cliffhanger.
