Watch the Moment when BTS members became emotional as J-Hope enlisted in the military

J-Hope is officially back from his military service! The talented dancer-rapper was the second member of BTS to enlist, following the group's eldest member, Jin, on April 18, 2023, and he returned on October 17, 2024. Naturally, ARMYs are overjoyed that their beloved "sunshine member" is back.

 

In light of this momentous occasion, we thought it would be fitting to revisit the day J-Hope enlisted and the rest of BTS tearfully said goodbye at his enlistment site. With a chill in the air, the members wore jackets and carried umbrellas as they took turns hugging the "Arson" singer, wishing him well in his military service. The rest of Bangtan praised his buzz cut look, while J-Hope did his best to lighten the mood with jokes, keeping things cheerful and refreshing.

Now that both Jin and J-Hope have returned to civilian life, RM, Jimin, Jung Kook, V, and SUGA are the remaining members serving in the military, expected to complete their service by June 2025. Reports indicate that BTS plans to release a new album and embark on a world tour once all members finish their military conscription, though specific details are still being finalized.
