Seunghan has officially announced his departure from the K-pop boy group RIIZE following an extended hiatus. Initially, it was stated that he would be returning to the group, but a significant backlash from some fans and Korean netizens prompted SM Entertainment to reverse that decision. Just two days later, they released a second statement confirming Seunghan's permanent exit from RIIZE.

International fans of RIIZE, known as BRIIZE, are understandably shocked and heartbroken by this sudden turn of events. Many feel that this situation is unjust to a young man's dreams and ambitions, accusing SM Entertainment of yielding to the unreasonable demands of a vocal minority. In light of these unfortunate circumstances, it seems fitting to reflect on some joyful moments, such as when Seunghan praised his labelmate and senior, NCT's Doyoung, for his beautiful and versatile vocals. During their interaction, Seunghan appeared shy and nervous, clearly preparing himself to speak with someone he admires.
