KARD - Bold and Unique

KARD, stylized as 카드, is a trailblazing co-ed K-pop group under DSP Media, comprising members J.Seph, BM, Somin, and Jiwoo. The group officially debuted on July 19, 2017, with their EP Hola Hola, showcasing a distinctive blend of genres like reggaetón and moombahton that resonated globally. Before their debut, each member had unique journeys: Somin, initially part of April, joined after competing in Kara Project, while J.Seph and BM underwent extensive training under DSP Media before forming KARD with Jiwoo, who swiftly joined after a short training period.

KARD gained rapid recognition through their innovative K.A.R.D. Project, which introduced them via sequential singles like "Oh NaNa," "Don't Recall," and "Rumor," each featuring a hidden card member. Their international appeal was evident early on, with Billboard recognizing them as one of the "10 Best New K-pop Groups" and highlighting their breakthrough on the World Digital Song Sales chart. Following their official debut, KARD continued to impress with releases like "You & Me," "Ride on the Wind," and "Red Moon," each showcasing their dynamic sound and captivating performances.

Known for their pioneering status as a successful co-ed group in the K-pop industry, KARD has consistently pushed boundaries with their trend-setting music style, drawing influences from hip hop, EDM, and R&B. Their global impact extends beyond music, with successful tours across North and South America, Europe, and Asia, cementing their reputation as one of the most promising acts in contemporary K-pop. As they continue to evolve and expand their musical horizons, KARD remains a symbol of innovation and diversity in the K-pop landscape.
