“Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned,” and (G)I-DLE's Yuqi is channeling that rage in her powerful breakup anthem, “Radio (Dum Dum).” Dressed in goth-grunge torn outfits with kohl-lined eyes and flushed cheeks, she captures the essence of a woman grappling with the aftermath of a breakup, her face reflecting a mix of anger and devastation.

Sung entirely in English, Yuqi’s flawless and powerful vocals convey her inner hurt and angst in this emotionally charged song. The lyrics flow beautifully, narrating the journey of heartbreak and her determination to move on from her ex without looking back.

While “Radio (Dum Dum)” is a strong track with impressive production quality and Yuqi’s commanding vocals, the music video falls into familiar territory. Featuring the typical breakup song visuals—lonely hotel corridors, shattered objects, rain-soaked moments, and tear-streaked faces—it lacks the creativity needed to elevate the experience. Despite this, “Radio (Dum Dum)” remains a standout song, deserving of more innovative visual storytelling.
