Director Shin Woo-seok Announces Removal of NewJeans' Music Videos Following ADOR's Request

Shin Woo-seok, head of the production company Dolphin Kidnapping and director of NewJeans' music videos for "Ditto" and "ETA," has revealed that ADOR, the group's agency, has requested the removal of all related work. On September 2nd, Shin took to social media to announce the sudden policy change.

In his post, Shin explained that following a shift in management at ADOR, the agency has requested the deletion of all NewJeans music videos and related content that Dolphin Kidnapping had worked on and uploaded. This also includes any future uploads that were planned. The Dolphin Kidnapping and Ban Hee-su YouTube channels, which primarily served as a portfolio archive, will now have to comply with ADOR's new directive.

Shin emphasized that the videos were created purely out of a desire to produce quality content for fans, with no financial gain for the production company. Despite this, the new policy means that all videos must be deleted, and any future collaboration between Dolphin Kidnapping and ADOR is now off the table.

Expressing his regret, Shin shared his disappointment at not being able to fulfill promised future projects with the NewJeans members. He also extended his apologies to the team who worked tirelessly on the content and to the fans who were eagerly anticipating the releases.
