Very rarely do you encounter a song with perfectly executed interlocking polyrhythms. When you do find a song that has them, you have to treasure it. “World Tour” by Bosudongcooler is one such song to treasure.
From the tambourine and bongos to the perfectly meshed guitar harmonies and bass line, this is a magical listen. Energy consistently passes between the right and left speakers in stimulating fashion, occasionally bordering on sensory overload but never quite crossing that threshold. The vocals are wonderfully layered and maintain a relaxed presence, helping the song to feel like it’s about to boil over without ever doing so.
It fittingly ends with sweeping chimes. In some songs that would feel extra, but given how magical this one is, it’s incredibly fitting. This is a must-listen.
