CHEN says “Love You” in his latest special digital single

EXO is one of those groups whose members have a diverse and versatile vocal range. Fondly dubbed as “Nation’s vocalist” by EXO-Ls (EXO’s fans), CHEN aka Kim Jong Dae is one of the most proficient singers in recent times. The singer can really hold a high note!

On May 28, 2024, CHEN released his first EP Door with his new label INB100. This EP is also the singer’s overall fourth EP. As a part of the EP’s promotions, CHEN is currently on a tour to different parts of South Asia. Adding to the celebrations, he released a digital single titled “Love You” on October 1, 2024. 

 

In anticipation of the single, CHEN released two lyric teasers in the style of aesthetic doodlings on paper. Black ink on an off white background, hinting at the mystical dreamy land of the song forms the entire look of the teaser. The first teaser shows a crescent moon on a black background, peeking from what looks like an oval shaped window. There are small stars and thin clouds with the song lyrics framing the moon. The second teaser is of a closed door. There is a small lamp hanging from the top on the left hand side and the rest of the space is taken up by thin veiny vines and a couple of lyric lines. From the door, we can see a starry night outside.
