Coldplay is currently on their 'Music of the Spheres World Tour,' performing in various countries and cities around the globe. From April 16th to 22nd, they will take the stage at South Korea's Goyang Stadium, with BTS' oldest member, Jin, announced as a special guest for the tour. Fans of both Coldplay and BTS, known as COLDTAN, are already excitedly anticipating Jin's performance of "The Astronaut" at Goyang Stadium.

BTS and Coldplay share a close and meaningful friendship, having collaborated twice. Their first collaboration came in 2021 with the track "My Universe," followed by "The Astronaut" in 2022, which marked Jin’s debut as a solo artist.

As fans celebrate this artistic partnership, many are reminded of the time BTS delivered an emotional and soulful cover of one of Coldplay's most iconic songs, "Fix You." This song, originally written by Chris Martin for his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow as she mourned her father’s death, touches on themes of love, loss, and emotional healing.

BTS’ rendition of "Fix You" during MTV Unplugged was deeply cherished by COLDTAN fans, who praised the group’s vocal line—Jin, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook—along with the rap line members RM, SUGA, and J-Hope, for harmonizing beautifully despite not being trained vocalists.

Their performance earned a heartfelt response from Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin, who described it as "aleumdaun," meaning "beautiful" in Korean.
