MADEIN’s rises to fans’ liking with debut EP ‘Rise’

There is a new girl group in town! 143 Entertainment debuted its latest rookie girl group, MADEIN, in September 2024. This girl group consists of seven members: Mashiro, MiU, Suhye, Yeseo, Gaeun, Serina, and Nagomi. Each of these members participated in several music reality shows to finally come together as one. The group’s name is symbolic to “We Made In You” as the members’ gesture to thank the fans for their love and support throughout the members’ journey. 

The group members were first introduced pre-debut with close up head shots of each member followed by the group’s official name styling and logo. The group is a bold graphic design with pink letters and black accents. The logo follows a similar pattern with the letters “MI,” with the letter “I” taking the form of a heart emoji resting on a bar. 

As their debut date got closer, fans were greeted with a cute art concept photo for MADEIN’s short film as well. Animated avatars of each member, dressed in similar clothing with red, white and black showing dominance. Each avatar sported the same white socks plus red shoes combination. Along with these avatars, a group icon was also showcased. A small semi-round white robot like figure with short legs covered in black and green socks and red shoes, a pair of double wings in light blue color and a black bar on the area that can be deemed as eyes covers the look. The black bar has a letter M in pink on the left and a white skull like drawing on the right. A short mop of hair-like extension is perched atop its head.

Coming to the group’s final photos before debut, the girls are dressed in school uniforms. They are seen standing in a small forested area. A light blue tinge is awash over the images hinting at a sense of nostalgia and the start of something new. The girls look at the camera and away from it to convey a different mood each time. After much anticipation, MADEIN finally made its debut on September 4, 2024 with its first EP 상승 (RISE).
