K-pop’s newest girl group ODD YOUTH debuts with a summery theme

ODD YOUTH, a five-member girl group under TOP Media debuted on November 1, 2024. Before the debut, the group released several image and video teasers to create anticipation for its new music. Let’s take a look at the concept images for ODD YOUTH's debut single “Best Friendz.”

For the individual photos, we find the members casting a playful look in an outdoor setting. MAIKA is wearing a graphic white crop top, a striped, plaid short skirt with a denim jacket to complete the look. Her hair is parted in the middle and two small sections are adorned with a string to form a small plait. MYAH is looking up to a mellow sunny sky with a smile on her face. She is wearing a shiny black top with a shiny gray jacket and a short black skirt with metallic accessories. A deep blue beanie completes her look. KANIE is seen in an all-denim outfit consisting of a black crop top, denim jacket, and denim shorts. She is wearing a black baseball cap as well. Several neck chains and body chains feature as accessories on her outfit. 

SUMMER is seen outside a convenience store wearing a white crop top and flared distressed jeans. A pair of white shoes, a dark-colored jacket, and sunglasses atop her head complete the look. Finally, YEEUM is wearing a short black dress with white polka dots on it. A black studded choker and a long leather jacket complete her outfit. She is also standing outside a convenience store. 

Overall, ODD YOUTH successfully delivers the idea of summer and friendship in its concept images. These images give us a good sneak peek into the single and gives us a good hint as to what could be seen in the music video.
