Have you heard of The Black Label’s new girl group?

The Black Label (더 블랙 레이블; stylized as THEBLΛƆKLΛBEL) is a prominent South Korean record label and an associate company of YG Entertainment, founded in 2015 by renowned producers Teddy Park and Kush. Since its creation, the label has expanded its lineup with high-profile artists and ambitious projects. On November 29, 2022, The Black Label revealed plans for their first girl group audition. Not too long after on December 26, 2022, Taeyang, a member of BIGBANG, transitioned to promoting under The Black Label while remaining part of the YG Family. The label continued to grow by signing actor Park Bo Gum on January 29, 2023, and securing a management contract with BLACKPINK’s Rosé for her solo endeavors on June 18, 2024.
But have you heard the news of the label’s new girl group? The Black Label confirmed their plans for the debut of their new girl group in the first half of 2024, which at this point means incredibly soon. They confirmed this with the following statement: “Hello, this is THE BLACK LABEL. The girl group we are producing is preparing for their debut in the first half of this year. We will share more details later. We ask for your understanding. Thank you.”

Since the release of this crazy news there are been circulating speculations that the group’s name will be MÈOVV. The Black Label's new girl group is already catching people’s attention, and we can't wait for their debut! Here's the rundown on the members we know so far:
Bailey: Full name Bailey Drew Sok, she's a Korean-American born on February 24, 2004. At 5'5", she's from Placentia, Orange County, California. Known as Bai or Bails, Bailey's already a big name in the dance world, having choreographed songs at just 15. She's a hip-hop queen with killer moves that are sure to bring serious energy to the group. Check her out on Instagram @baileysok.
Chloe: Her real name is Lee Gawon, born in 2005. Standing at a statuesque 5'9", Chloe is also Korean-American. She used to train with YG Entertainment and has even modeled for Adidas. With her tall frame and modeling chops, she's bringing major style and grace to the group.
Ella Gross: Born Ella McKenzie Gross on December 1, 2008, and also known as Nabi (which means butterfly in Korean). This 5'1" Korean-American cutie has been with The Black Label since 2018 as a model. She's half Korean, half German, and can speak both English and Korean. Ella's besties with BLACKPINK's Jennie and is a huge fan of BLACKPINK and G-DRAGON. She's got serious connections and a ton of talent. Follow her on Instagram @ellagross.
