“Armageddon” by aespa Passes One Million Albums Sold

“Armageddon,” the first full-length album by aespa, was released less than a week ago but has already sold over one million albums. This group, which has over 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify, has just reached a major milestone with this album. This shows that not only are fans willing to stream their music, but they also want physical copies as well.

Most of the sales this week were fueled by pre-orders. In fact, aespa managed to sell over a million albums in pre-order sales. This was thanks to their unique offer that allowed fans to purchase a CD player in addition to receiving their CD of the album. It was a novel idea that has shown to be successful! The CD and the small CD player cost just over $100 and fans quickly got online to order them and they quickly sold out!

This group is definitely one to keep an eye on. They have shown to be a fan favorite and have quickly gained popularity thanks to their talent and creativity.  We can’t wait to see what is next for them!
