BTS fans know that V is a social butterfly who makes friends wherever he goes. Currently, the "Slow Dancing" singer is enlisted in the military, completing his mandatory service. Recently, he shared a post on Instagram alongside actor-singer Kim Min Jae, showing off his fit physique at the gym they both frequent, thanks to content creator and bodybuilder Ma Sunho. ARMYs who have followed V since the beginning of his career know about the strong and lasting friendship he has with Min Jae.

In 2016, the two appeared together on the variety show “Celeb Bros”, where they went for a long drive around the city, enjoyed delicious food, and discussed their careers and friendship. One memorable moment took place by the Han River in Seoul when Min Jae surprised V with a birthday cake. As V approached him, Min Jae stood up holding a candle-lit cake and began singing "Happy Birthday," leaving V genuinely touched by the thoughtful gesture.

The two shared cake and hot ramen, with V even feeding Min Jae a big piece and playfully wiping cream from the corners of his mouth, reminiscent of a scene from the K-drama Secret Garden. V emotionally shared that since moving to Seoul, he had only celebrated his birthday with BTS members, making Min Jae's kind gesture all the more meaningful.
